Art of 2017 Video

So, I actually uploaded this a while ago, and I meant to make a post featuring the video not long after I uploaded it, but that didn’t actually happen until right now. Heh heh. A lot of the art in this video are the free requests I did, so you Awesome Readers have already seen those. But, there’s also some art that I did in-between doing requests, so there is some new stuff in the video. Anyway, here’s the video if you Awesome Readers would like to watch it:

 

And now for the other reason I’m making this post. So, as some may remember, I was once doing a Nuzlocke in Pokemon Emerald, which unfortunately got cancelled because I lost the data for it. Anyway, in that nuzlocke I had a Poochyena named Pepper, and I drew her for the first time in around 4 years (goodness, doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that I was doing my nuzlocke) the other day. So, I decided that I wanted to post both the old drawing of Pepper, and the new one so you awesome readers could see them. So, first up is the old one from 2014:

I also just feel like pointing out that the lighting is everywhere on this one. Although, other than that, it’s not too bad considering how old it is.

Finished Free Art Requests Compilation (Wave 2)

Hey there, Awesome Readers! So, I recently finished up the second wave (and the last wave for a while as they are now closed) of free art requests! And, just like last time, I decided to dump them all into one post for you Awesome Readers to see. I should probably note that some of these are a little old, though. Anyway, on with the requests!

First off is a character by the name of Bue Notoshi! I don’t really have anything else to say about this one, so, onward we go!

Next we have Ami and Yumi from the Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Show! This was the first time I was asked to draw licensed characters, and boy was I excited about it. I had a hard time with Ami’s hair (she’s the one with pink hair), but, otherwise, I had a fun time with this one.

This was my first time drawing a joke character. The one on the left is a joke Warrior Cats OC. I had a lot of fun drawing this one, something about that OC is hilarious to me.

Next we have a character by the name of Princess Arcadia! This was the first time I tried to do a leaning-slightly-forward pose. Still not too happy with the results, but, not terrible for a first try.

Next we have Twilight Sparkle and Mickey Mouse! This was my second licensed character request, and my first time drawing a horse as well as drawing Mickey Mouse. Fun fact: Mickey doesn’t actually have a neck. I thought that was hilarious when I found out.

Next, from left to right, we have Fritter and Arctic! I think this was my first time drawing a fox? I’m not really sure on that one.

Next we have a character by the name of Rei Hino! This was the first time I tried to draw hands the way you see in this piece, and I have never been able to get results as good ever since.

Next we have a character by the name of Suspiria! This was the first time I tried to draw a paw over the mouth in a snickering kind of way, and the first time I tried to draw the dew claws on the paws. I’m still pretty happy with the results of this one!

Next we have a character by the name of Jazzy Adastreia! This was the first time I colored eyes without any clearly defined pupils.

Next we have Amy Rose and Rouge the Bat from the Sonic the Hedgehog series! The request for this one was that Rouge gave Amy a makeover after Amy lost a bet. I’m still quite pleased with the detail I put on Rouge’s lipstick, even if it does seem a little out of place.

Next we have a character by the name of Timber! This was my first time drawing a character with stripes. Or at least, as far as I can remember it is.

Next we have Darkrai from the Pokemon series! This drawing was requested by Sam! This was my first time drawing Darkrai, so I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. But, I’m pretty happy with the results! The only thing I can really say I wish I could’ve done better on is the glowy effect on the eye and shadow ball attack.

Finished Free Art Requests Compilation (Wave 1)

Hey there, awesome readers! Sorry about not posting in a long time, I’ve had no motivation for writing posts lately, unfortunately. So, to make up for it, I decided to post the first wave of free art requests that I’ve finished. Anyway, on with the drawings!

 

This is Lemon the Vaporeon, who was the first request that I received. This was the first full body piece that I did digitally, and one of the first few full body images that I’ve done in general.

 

This is one of the only times I’ve tried to draw dragon wings (or wings in general), and, looking back on it, they are terrible. This is not proper anatomy at all, I probably should have used some references. Oh well, I’ll know better for next time.

 

Here we have the first time I tried to draw a dog “play bowing”, with okay (?) results. This is also the last request that I did on Gimp.

 

This is the first request that I did on Paint Tool Sai. I think the quality of my pieces improved greatly once I started using Sai instead of Gimp. What do you awesome readers think?

 

Whoa! A request for a human character! I’m not too happy with how the arms turned out, but, otherwise I’m pretty happy with this one. This was a request from a friend, so I plan on remaking it someday with better arm anatomy.

 

This is easily the request that I’m most proud of. There was a bit of a time gap between the completion of the last request, and this one. I don’t really remember what pieces I drew between the two, but I had gotten more practice before I drew this one, hence the slightly larger jump in quality between this request and the last one in comparison to the other requests.

 

This is the last of the first wave of free requests that I’ve finished. I’ve only drawn a rat maybe one or two other times, so I’m fairly pleased with how this one turned out. But, I still have a long way to go before I would actually say I’m good at drawing rats. Although, seeing as how I don’t draw rats but maybe once in a blue moon, and maybe not even frequently enough to count it as that often, it will probably be a long time before I think I’m good at rats.

 

Anyways, I hope you awesome readers enjoyed this post! I would say that I’ll try to post more, but I seriously doubt that will happen. Sorry again, I’m just not super motivated to post on here for the time being. So, see you all whenever I finally post again.

Yeah, I know, it’s been forever since I posted. Sorry about that. To be honest, I just haven’t had a lot of motivation to post in a while.

That Pokeyman Thing Your Grandkids Are Into Playthrough

So, recently I decided to do some special videos on Youtube as thanks to my awesome viewers. I decided to upload my gameplay videos of “That Pokeyman Thing Your Grandkids Are Into”, which is a light hearted, fanmade Pokemon Go parody. I had a lot of fun with it, and I decided that I’d also make a post here with the videos so all you awesome readers could see them too. One Hundredth Post!

Oh my goodness! We’ve made it to one hundred posts, all my awesome readers! I’ve been meaning to post about this for a while now, but wanted to finish an animation I was working on to link in the post. And, guess what. It’s done! I want to thank all of my awesome readers for being with me all this way, and for bearing with me as I am often inactive with posts.
